Break Tight Holds Free

Wear my concentric thoughts around your heart
and thread the net of love that tracks you back
to a kiss that once opened the sky and it rained
in plum sized drops of peach verses
falling all around the crooked, old, forgotten tree
where the serpent talks and coerces
nature to break up off tight holds free
while stripping all of our thoughts naked
before the blasted judge. He wants
to hide what’s true and sacred
so He can rule while he chants
against the bloom in deeming taunts;
let go and be beaten by the spider,
choke on your breath,
so you can be gold-chained
with free verses of forever fallen love.
