Gold embroider collar
Still mirrors what we are, and, happened to be, after all–
free lovers stitched with dreams
riders of the wild united with the ring and promise
on the wings of limitless sky
adorned with glow of what has been lost
in our malleable lives etched in the skin of stubborn caribous;
the fabric of fine silk unconscious is a needle work
that locked us out of hopes,
but gifted us with the hidden secret keys
burning in blaze of words
spelled in never decipherable codes of our hearts,
Let fire meld gold and tin at once
so you can wore Gákti of present colors
never lost while drowning in the streams of past;
love we’ll be,
just tighten the belt with square buttons of the closing, raw future.

Gákti, the Lappar tradition:
